"Could Smart-watches be as harmful as Cigarettes"

Technology is advancing nowadays as faster as never before, making the human life more sophisticated and affable  but there is always a question lying in the ongoing process that , ‘How much will this advancement affect our hygienic life’. Wearable devices have been the latest trends in the modern-day world, but some researcher concluded that this wearable devices could be as harmful as Cigarettes. Back in 1946 when smoking a Cigar and wearing a longcoat was probably called ‘fashion’ and even ads came in newspaper with headlines such as ‘More doctors smoke camels than any other Cigarette’, but back then very few of the Doctors would have analyzed the future where smoking could be a crucial cause of an irremediable disease known as cancer.

In a similar vein, researchers and consumers have raised a question that ‘Whether wearable devices will be affecting their health in the upcoming future’? As researchers have already proved that cellphones gives off a very low level of radiation, which can lead to traumatic diseases such as brain tumor, lung cancer, disturbed blood rhythms and several other health problems if held for an extended period of time.

While there is no definitive research on the health effects of a wearable devices, but surely we can take a glimpse from the theory of the 'cell-phone radiation factor'. Back in 2011, when WHO (World Health Organization) conducted a panel with 31 scientists from 14 countries they reached an arguably unbiased conclusion, that small radiation that comes out from the mobile devices can indeed cause cancer and similar kind of traumatic diseases and affect our day to day lives.

Scientists further concluded that Cell-phones are 'possibly carcinogenic' and that the device could be as harmful as smoking a cigarette in a day. They also told that 'surfing the web or texting a message would be a much better option for your health than holding a cell-phone inches away from your brain( That is why there were serious concerns about Google Glass when it was first announced and why we've been told to use hands-free devices when talking on cellphones).

But who will try to explain this point to an ‘Apple fan-boy’, or a 'Google fanatic' who just waits a long time to buy their favorites brand new products with the latest trends being the ‘smart-watch’ Well, while some has told against smart-watches, there are some scientist who have concluded that wearable devices cannot be as harmful as the researchers predicts it could be. Dr. Joseph Mercola, a physician said that long wearable devices cannot be harmful to a person’s health as long as the device does not a have 3G connections built into it, and even if there are any possibilities of harmfulness, they are very minimal.

Researchers have also raised concerns that having powerful batteries so close to the body for extended periods of time can also lead to many health issues. Yet here we are in 2015, with companies like Apple and Samsung encouraging us to buy gadgets that we should attach to our bodies all day long. So, what the consumers should do? Perhaps we can look at how the researchers themselves handles their smart-phone.

"Apple's big idea finally put into market"

Well, at-last Apple Inc came up with their long planned idea and has been able to put it into the market as they are almost ready to launch their first smartwatch named ‘i-watch’. As we all are aware of the fact that Apple Inc always launches things that generally exists in the market, be it ‘i-phone or the i-mac’,  all the features are already been known to the customers long before, but the thing that differentiate Apple Inc from the other companies is their design and appetite for creativity.

As of Apple’s other devices, ‘i-watch’ will also have almost similar kind of features that is already been there in Motorola’s smart-watch ‘Moto-360’ but it is the brand name and Apple’s combination of competence that will decide whether the smartwatch will attract customers or not. As, of now Apple’s chief executive Mr. Tim Cook said that watch will be available for three models-standard, sports and Edition and will also come in two sizes-38 mm and 42 mm with a variety of straps. It also has a sapphire crystal display and a sidewinder, known as a digital crown, which can be used to zoom in, scroll and navigate the interface.

What are the features?

So, let’s have a look at the features that this wearable device is bringing on with it. First and foremost, Apple is very popular in developing ‘health and fitness’ apps which has helped millions of its users over the years and that’s why they have included some of the quite popular apps in i-watch too. Starting from an app called ‘strava’ which is used for determining the amount of distance traveled in a day, the company has worked on several other similar kinds of ‘Health and Fitness apps. Coming to navigatory apps, ‘Uber’ and ‘Citymapper’ has been programmed in order to make the travel plan a lot easier than before. Other than these apps, Instagram, Evernote and Twitter have also been featured in wrist-optimization form in order to make your life a whole lot easier.

So, now that we know what the features are, let’s have some insight onto the price list. As far as the price lists stands, Apple’s i-watch can start from as low as 299 euros to as high as 13,500 euros, but it depends on you that what edition you want to buy? As we know Apple products are not something we cannot live without, but definitely it makes your life simpler and in a many way ‘creative’. The watch is set to be launch on April 24 in United Kingdom.

"Will Keane 'working hard' to make a Manchester United return"

Two years since a loan move away from Manchester united but still  21 year old 'Will Keane' never let go off his dream i.e playing first team football wearing the famous red shirt. The England under-21 international made his senior team debut for the Red Devils under the management of Sir Alex Ferguson back in 2011 but fall short of ‘class’ to impress the legendary icon and since have been loan transferred to Wigan Athletic for the better improvement of his performance.

Though Keane has not been able to perform much well in the previous two season with Wigan Athletic and Queens Park rangers, but the lad has shown some impressive performance this season with Sheffield Wednesday and is out to convince current Manchester united manager Louis Van Gaal of his capabilities by netting three goals in 10 appearances.
Will Keane’s twin brother Mike was also a former academy player of Manchester United, but have a now signed a permanent deal with Burnley, while ‘Will’ have set his eyes on a Manchester United return. Here what ‘Will’ said to a local news Channel,

“It's been good experience for me as, up to now, I've been playing in every game which has been pleasing. It's the reason I came here to get games under my belt. I think maybe this is a bit more like reality here because you get caught in a little bubble at United. Only a certain number of clubs have those facilities and you can take it for granted a bit at times. It's a different experience and something I've taken to. I've got to enjoy the challenge.”
“My aim is to hopefully come back to United and be involved in the set-up there. That's what I set out to do. At the moment, I'm here until the end of the season and want to give everything here. Hopefully, I can keep playing well and scoring goals and then reassess the situation at the end of the season. My aim is to get in the Premier League, hopefully with United, and I'll have to see how the squad is at the end of the season, speak to the manager and take it from there.”
“By playing well here (for Sheffield Wednesday), it will help me get recognized. I keep in touch and speak to Warren (Joyce) quite regularly. He's very keen to keep an eye on the games, which is good, and I speak to him after them. He gives me tips on what I can do better and these general chats help me. It's good to know they (the United coaches) are watching.”

"Di Maria's action was 'not so smart',says Van Gaal"

‘Salts in the wounds’, as everybody was expecting that United will not let go off their only chance to win any silverware this season which was the FA Cup but in a great turnaround of events, Manchester united got a setback in the hand of their arch-rivals Arsenal in the quarterfinal itself with a 2-1 defeat. And it was not only the defeat, but Di Maria’s red card on the 77th minute was also a highlighting point in the match.
Manager Louis Van Gaal was not at all happy with the Argentine forward as he picked up the second yellow card for toggling referee Michael Oliver. The 63 year old Dutch manager conclude that Di Maria’s behavior was ‘not so smart’ in the post match conference. Van Gaal criticized Di Maria’s attitude and said it was not the aggressiveness but the frustration that earned him the red card seconds after he received his first yellow card for a diving incident.
Van Gaal said, "Angel Di Maria knows that he doesn't have to touch the referee," so that is not so smart of him but to control emotion is not so easy in such a match. I have mentioned it also before the match because I know that these kinds of matches a red card is easy. He knows that he doesn't have to touch the referee. He knows that. Every player knows that."
Di Maria is the most expensive player in British football and was transferred from Real Madrid last summer for a fee 59.7 million euro which is British transfer record.
Van Gaal further added, “In Spain he knows that he doesn't touch the referee, but that is also in his emotion. I've already spoken with him, he knows my opinion but also I have to see on the video. I think he's touched the referee and that's forbidden in every country, so he has no excuses."
Manchester United manager have also accepted that the 2-1 defeat in the hands of Arsenal was a huge setback for the team, but insisted that his team will come out of this setback and show better performances as Manchester united is looking for a top four finish.

"Giggs Should leave United for his own future, says Scholes"

One of the greatest mid-fielder and former Manchester United player Paul Scholes believes his ex-teammate Ryan Giggs will not wait long enough to be in-charge of his own first team players. Scholes, who have played many years alongside Giggs have a feeling that Giggsy certainly will not wait for another season or two to see his future possibilities at Old Trafford.
Scholes indicated in his last interview with Mirror that “There’s no doubt, he had that little taste of it for the last three weeks of last year and he definitely wants to be a manager. You can see that. Over the next two or three years, will he have the patience to be a number two for that long? I’m not sure he will. Scholes also believes that Giggs has the full capability to manage his own first eleven, but feels that waiting until current Manager Louis Van Gaal step aside will be a big gaffer for Giggsy.
It is not only Scholes who is expecting to see Giggs in a top position, but another ex-teammate also feels the same way; it’s none other than former Newcastle United and Manchester United striker Michael Owen who has similar kind of opinion about the 40 year old Giggs.
With the possible chances, Giggs himself has indicated that he will not hesitate to take another opportunity to seat in the driver’s seat if the opportunity comes in the right way and in the right time. But Giggs didn't sound as confident as his companions Scholes and Owen were about him, as Giggs commented on the situation that  “So whenever that time comes, I don’t know when it will be, but all I can do is prepare myself. I’m serving my apprenticeship again. That’s the way I see it.”
But the main factor that everyone believes will drive away Giggs from Manchester United sooner than he’d like is the unstable relationship with the current Manager Louis Van Gaal. It’s quite visibly noticeable that whenever the bench of Manchester United dugout is celebrating a goal, Giggs isn't a part of Van Gaal’s joy.
Though both of them have told the press that they share a good relationship, but all that seems far-far away from United’s management team. In the long run though, everyone expects Giggs to be biding his time in a right and fruitful way.

"Volvo brings 'Cloud Technology' in cars to automatically transmit data."

‘Volvo’, one of the leading automotive companies in the world has brought down a new vision of technology for the new generation. The multinational Swedish manufacturing company is planning to use the cloud to connect the cars in order for a better road safety measures.

The most basic problem that a person can ever face in a road is nothing but a traffic jam. So, if you are coming to a sudden stop on the highway due to traffic jam, then this new system by developed by Volvo will sense the upcoming danger and will automatically transmit the information to the other drivers via cloud, so they can be alerted well before and will also guide them with further instruction.

The sensors that Volvo is using will directly communicate to the cloud instead of individuals using their Smartphone unlike that of waze, the crowd-sourced traffic data service used before. The basic requirements for this sensor will be a internet connectivity inside the car. For this project, Volvo is building relationships with various providers around the world including AT&T in the US.

For starters, the service will be available for a certain models in Sweden and Norway where the car maker has the maximum number of marketshare, but the company expects that the program could expand and can envision in time when it will communicate with all the equipped cars, regardless of the make.

The Company showed of their project plan last week at the Mobile World Congress. The company’s VP and Group CIO Klaus Kendrick said:
In case you’re wondering, he says there is no personal data transmitted as part of this process. He can see this service developing further over time, and perhaps expanding as more companies get involved.”We are leading this development, but the industry is still young,” he said.He further added, “Over time other car makers have to be involved to make it more useful.”
Well, i hope this new plan of Volvo can spread all over the world increasing the "Road safety' factor.

'Steven Gerrard planning to build new House despite moving to America this summer'

Steven Gerrard is moving to US on loan next season, but that didn't stop him to buy a 0.57 hectare land to build his new home on the Merseyside. Gerrard who have represented England 114 times is considered to be one of the best midfielder in the world earmarked the whole world after his ‘plan’ of building a new home on the place he is about to leave on this summer. It is also been assumed that 34 year old may return to Premier league once finishing his scheduled playing time in America.

The multi-million pound house will have five bedrooms on the upper level, along with a leisure area with swimming pool. It will also have ground floor with four reception room, a Cinema, gym and ‘plant room’ are also included in the proposed building plan. There will also be staff and guest accommodation and a garage space for two cars.

As far as now, it’s not clear whether Gerrard is planning to sell his current house, but the Gerrard family this summer is going to shift to Beverly Hills in California, where the Liverpool captain is going to play for LA Galaxy following the footsteps of his country mate David Beckham.

Gerrard stunned the whole Liverpool FC community by announcing his departure from the club after the end of the season, bringing down a 28-years association to a close. Gerrard have played 497 times for Liverpool as of now scoring around 117 goals and have also helped Liverpool achieve many great feats in football history.

'Bio-Battery' is likely to be the next mode of electric generation.

Electricity is a much needed energy in our day to day life without which, probably our generation will go back to the age of ‘Adam and eve’. But according to the current statistics and data, it’s been said that within 35 years, the all ‘probable’ mode of generating electrical energy will be out of stock. So, the question remains, what will be our next mode of generating electricity? The answer lies within our boundaries of life. It is nothing but ‘sewages’ which will be the next generation Electrical energy resources.

Scientists from the Fraunhofer Institute of Environmental, Energy and safety technology came up with the idea and have also succeeded in considerably improving the efficiency of the bio-gas plants. The bio-battery process developed by the team not only gives electricity and heat, but also high quality products such as gas, oil and vegetable oil. Not only this bio-batteries are used in domestic appliances, but can also be utilized in chemical industries and used as admixtures for Aviation and Marine fuels.

The Process:

The bio-battery is a modular and consists of a pool of environmentally- friendly technologies such as bio-gas plants, thermal storage and various other storage plants to produce electricity. The main concept of this process is thermo-catalytic reforming. In this process the experts convert carbon out of organic material, for example fermentation residues from the bio-gas plants and bio-ethanol productions. The main advantage of bio-battery is that the number of raw material which would otherwise have to be disposed often at greater rate.

The raw materials first pass through a sluice without oxygen into a continuously rotating screw. There the material is heated up and broken down into bio-char and volatile vapors. The vapors are reheated and then cooled down again. In the process it condenses into a liquid, which contains bio-oil and water. Researchers separate the high quality oil to reuse it. The resulting gas is purified and collected.

Bio-gas plants have become very popular in Germany, producing electricity from renewable sources and can compensate for highly possible fluctuating wind and solar energy. According to statistics there almost 8000 plants running in Germany producing around 3.75 gigawatts in total, that is equivalent to three nuclear plants. So, you can imagine that how ‘Sewage can save our world when it will be on the brink of electric extinction.

"I am not entirely responsible for Manchester Utd's bad form", says Van Gaal

The 63-year-old Dutchman says that he is not solely responsible for Manchester United’s current form.Despite losing just 2 games out of 20 matches in their latest run, the questions have always been raised against the style of United’s play and Manager Louis Van Gaal has piled some of the responsibilities on his men.
As far as ambitions matters, United are looking for a top four finish in Barclays premier league but the recent defeat at Swansea have increased the pressure on the Manager as well as the players as they look for a champions league place.
Even Angel Di Maria, who was bought from Real Madrid last summer for a record British transfer fee of 59.7m euros has failed to regain his form after frequent injuries which have dampened the condition for Manchester united a lot. Van Gaal recently talked to press about current situations and he clearly indicated that he will not take the bad form of United as his responsibilities.
“It’s not always the fault of the manager, when a player is not performing well, I can tell you that and I think not only Di Maria [is struggling],but all the players too.My belief, and the belief of the board, is when you do things with your conscience, then it shall be better. But at the end, every player has to do each task with intuition, because that is the process. He further added,Di Maria needs to go through that process and at the end he shall be much better.I know as a manager that he’s a very creative player and you can see this from the statistics. He needs that space and I give that space, but he needs to do also things with his brain and that’s a learning process, not only with Di Maria but with all the players.”
United with their latest 2-0 win against Sunderland have moved to the 3rd place of Premier league table with Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea yet to play a match.
